The application for authorisation must be drawn up in accordance with a standard dossier, the composition of which is set by the Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine.
This application is sent by the director of the establishment to the Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt, or lodged with the Agence under the same conditions. This application must be signed by the practitioners approved for the activities mentioned in Article R. 2131-22-2.
Applications for authorisation or renewal of authorisation are examined by the Agence de la biomédecine and are the subject of an opinion from the Director General of the competent Regional Health Agency and a decision from the Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine under the conditions laid down in Article R. 2131-13.
The Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine informs the Director General of the relevant Regional Health Agency of authorisations granted or refused, and of decisions relating to the renewal of authorisations.
The Agence de la biomédecine publishes decisions relating to authorisations, renewals, suspensions and withdrawals of these authorisations in the Official Bulletin of the Ministry of Health. It updates the list of authorised establishments and makes it available to the public.
