Article R215 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

As an exception to the rule laid down in the preceding article, the costs of proceedings brought before the civil court or the court of appeal shall be paid in accordance with the tariff fixed by this title:

1° For contravention of the laws on the keeping of civil status registers, in the cases provided for in articles 50 and 53 of the Civil Code, and on the celebration of marriages, in the case provided for in article 192 of the Civil Code;

2° For disciplinary offences committed by public or ministerial officers.

Par dérogation à la règle établie à l’article précédent, sont payés conformément au tarif fixé par le présent titre, les frais des poursuites exercées devant le tribunal civil ou devant la cour d’appel :

1° Pour contravention aux lois sur la tenue des registres de l’état civil, dans les cas prévus aux articles 50 et 53 du code civil, et sur la célébration des mariages, dans le cas prévu à l’article 192 du code civil ;

2° Pour infractions disciplinaires commises par des officiers publics ou ministériels.
