Section 1: General rules

The costs listed in Article R. 93 are advanced by the Treasury in accordance with the provisions of this Title: they are taxed and liquidated according to the tariff and rules of each competent court. The provisions of articles R. 222, R. 223, R. 224-2, R. 225, R. 228, R. 228-1, R. 229, R. 230, R. 233 and R. 234 are applicable for the payment of these costs.

As an exception to the rule laid down in the preceding article, the costs of proceedings brought before the civil court or the court of appeal shall be paid in accordance with the tariff fixed by this title: 1° For contravention of the laws on the keeping of civil status registers, in the cases provided for in articles 50 and 53 of the Civil Code, and on the celebration of…
