Article R2151-12 of the French Public procurement code

The purchaser may require tenderers to attach a French translation to the documents drawn up in another language that they submit pursuant to article R. 2151-6. It does not require a certified translation except where this is justified by an overriding reason relating to the public interest.

L’acheteur peut exiger que les soumissionnaires joignent une traduction en français aux documents rédigés dans une autre langue qu’ils remettent en application de l’article R. 2151-6. Il n’impose pas de traduction certifiée sauf lorsque cela est justifié par une raison impérieuse d’intérêt général.
