Where the contract provides for a procedure to verify the conformity of the services, it may provide that the payment period shall run from the date on which such conformity is established, if this date is later than the date of receipt of the request for payment.
The duration of the verification procedure may not exceed thirty days. However, the contract may provide for a longer period, provided that this does not constitute a manifest abuse of the creditor’s rights, in particular with regard to custom or good practice. In the absence of an express decision within this period, the services are deemed to be compliant.
