Article R221-2-1 of the French Tourism Code

The administrative penalties that may be imposed on holders of the professional guide-lecturer card, in the event of failure to comply with their professional obligations, are as follows:

1° A warning ;

2° Temporary withdrawal of the professional card, for a maximum period of six months;

3° Permanent withdrawal of the professional licence.

The penalty is imposed by the administrative authority that issued the professional licence.

Article R221-2-1

Les sanctions administratives susceptibles d’être prononcées à l’encontre des personnes titulaires de la carte professionnelle de guide-conférencier, en cas de manquement à leurs obligations professionnelles, sont les suivantes :

1° L’avertissement ;

2° Le retrait temporaire de la carte professionnelle, pour une durée maximum de six mois ;

3° Le retrait définitif de la carte professionnelle.

La sanction est prononcée par l’autorité administrative qui a délivré la carte professionnelle.
