Article R232-70 of the French Sports Code

The approval of the persons in charge of the inspection takes effect after they have taken an oath before the judicial court of their place of residence or before the court of Paris, stating: “I swear to carry out with accuracy and probity all inspections, investigations, findings and operations falling within the scope of my mission. I also swear not to reveal or use anything brought to my knowledge in the course of my duties”.

In the event of a serious impediment, the president of the judicial court may authorise the person responsible for the inspection to take the oath in writing.

Only one oath is taken.

Article R232-70

L’agrément des personnes chargées du contrôle prend effet après qu’elles ont prêté serment devant le tribunal judiciaire de leur résidence ou devant celui de Paris, en déclarant : ” Je jure de procéder avec exactitude et probité à tous contrôles, enquêtes, recherches, constats et opérations entrant dans le cadre de ma mission. Je jure également de ne rien révéler ou utiliser de ce qui sera porté à ma connaissance à l’occasion de l’exercice de celle-ci “.

En cas d’empêchement grave, le président du tribunal judiciaire peut autoriser la personne chargée du contrôle à prêter serment par écrit.

Il n’est procédé qu’à une seule prestation de serment.
