Article R2324-13 of the French Public Health Code

On receipt of the information referred to in the second paragraph of article R. 2324-12, the prefect of the département in which the organiser of the family holiday stay is domiciled or has its registered office will refer the matter to the president of the département council with a view to consulting the doctor in charge of the département maternal and child protection service.

If the President of the Departmental Council fails to respond within two months, the opinion is deemed to have been given to the Prefect.

Article R2324-13

A la réception des informations mentionnées au deuxième alinéa de l’article R. 2324-12, le préfet du département du domicile ou du siège social de l’organisateur du séjour de vacances dans une famille saisit le président du conseil départemental en vue de la consultation du médecin responsable du service départemental de protection maternelle et infantile.

A défaut de réponse du président du conseil départemental dans le délai de deux mois, l’avis est réputé avoir été donné au préfet.
