I.-The kindergartens mentioned in 2° of article R. 2324-17 take in children aged eighteen months and over with a view to promoting their socialisation and development and facilitating the transition to their integration into primary education.
For these establishments, the establishment project mentioned in article R. 2324-29 includes a presentation of the partnerships implemented with nursery or primary schools in the area in order to meet the objective set in the previous paragraph.
II.Kindergartens fall into one of the following categories, depending on the capacity provided for in the authorisation from the President of the Departmental Council or in the request for an opinion sent to him:
1° Small kindergartens : establishments with a capacity of twenty-four places or less;
2° Kindergartens: establishments with a capacity of between twenty-five and fifty-nine places;
3° Large kindergartens: establishments with a capacity of sixty places or more.
III – In kindergartens, the maximum size of the reception units referred to in article R. 2324-28 is eighty places.
