Article R2333-120-5 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The amount of the fee paid at the start of the parking period is deducted from the amount of the post-parking charge, provided that the following conditions are met:

1° The proof of payment corresponding to the amount paid is affixed to the vehicle or transmitted by dematerialised means in accordance with the provisions of article R. 417-3-1 of the Highway Code;

2° The maximum duration of paid parking, in the zone in question, during which the proof of payment was printed or transmitted has not expired at the time at which the sworn official issues the payment notice.

If several proofs of payment meet the conditions set out in 1° and 2°, only the most recent of these proofs of payment is taken into account when making the deduction set out in the first paragraph.

Le montant de la redevance réglée dès le début du stationnement est déduit du montant du forfait de post-stationnement, dès lors que sont satisfaites les conditions suivantes :

1° Le justificatif de paiement correspondant au montant réglé est apposé dans le véhicule ou transmis par voie dématérialisée conformément aux dispositions de l’article R. 417-3-1 du code de la route ;

2° La durée maximale de stationnement payant, dans la zone considérée, au cours de laquelle a été imprimé ou transmis le justificatif de paiement n’est pas expirée à l’heure à laquelle l’agent assermenté établit l’avis de paiement.

Si plusieurs justificatifs de paiement répondent aux conditions prévues aux 1° et 2°, seul le dernier en date de ces justificatifs de paiement est pris en compte pour opérer la déduction prévue au premier alinéa.
