Article R2334-31 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Prefect will request the repayment of all or part of the subsidy in the following cases:

a) If the allocation of the subsidised investment has been modified without his authorisation before the expiry of the deadline set in the order awarding the subsidy;

b) If he is aware that the ceiling provided for in the second paragraph of article R. 2334-27 or of a failure to comply with the rules governing the minimum participation of the project owner;

c) If the operation is not completed within the period stipulated in article R. 2334-29.

Article R2334-31

Le préfet demande le reversement total ou partiel de la subvention dans les cas suivants :

a) Si l’affectation de l’investissement subventionné a été modifiée sans son autorisation avant l’expiration du délai fixé dans l’arrêté attributif de la subvention ;

b) S’il a connaissance d’un dépassement du plafond prévu au second alinéa de l’article R. 2334-27 ou d’un non-respect des règles de participation minimale du maître d’ouvrage ;

c) Si l’opération n’est pas réalisée dans le délai prévu à l’article R. 2334-29.
