Article R241-7 of the French Sports Code

Approved veterinarians shall draw up a report of the conditions under which they carried out the sampling and examinations. Any supporting documents produced by the person or persons mentioned in 1° of article R. 241-4 shall be attached to the report.

In the event of the animal being prevented or refused from undergoing sampling and examination, the approved veterinarian shall draw up a report setting out the circumstances in which it was not possible to carry out the sampling and examination.

The person responsible for the animal, the owner or the trainer may add their observations to the report drawn up in application of the preceding paragraphs.

Article R241-7

Les vétérinaires agréés dressent procès-verbal des conditions dans lesquelles ils ont procédé aux prélèvements et examens. Les justificatifs éventuellement produits par la ou les personnes mentionnées au 1° de l’article R. 241-4 sont joints au procès-verbal.

En cas d’empêchement ou de refus de soumettre l’animal aux prélèvements et examens, le vétérinaire agréé dresse un procès-verbal relatant les circonstances dans lesquelles ces prélèvements et examens n’ont pu avoir lieu.

La personne responsable de l’animal, le propriétaire ou l’entraîneur peuvent faire figurer leurs observations sur le procès-verbal établi en application des alinéas précédents.
