Article R2421-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The postings provided for in article L. 2421-4 are carried out at the town hall door, as well as in all useful places.

The notification provided for in the second paragraph of article L. 2421-4 is made by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within a period of one month from the date of posting at the town hall.

Les affichages prévus par l’article L. 2421-4 sont effectués à la porte de la mairie, ainsi qu’en tous lieux utiles.

La notification prévue par le deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 2421-4 est faite par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception dans un délai d’un mois à compter de l’affichage à la porte de la mairie.
