The execution studies enable the work to be carried out. Their purpose, for the work as a whole or for the public contracts concerned alone, is to:
1° To draw up all the execution plans and specifications for use on the site, as well as the corresponding summary plans;
2° To draw up a detailed cost estimate for each public contract on the basis of the execution plans;
3° To draw up the provisional timetable for the execution of the works for each public contract;
4° To ensure the technical consistency of the documents supplied by the economic operators responsible for the works when the documents for the execution of the works are drawn up in part by the project owner and in part by these operators.
When all or part of the execution studies are carried out by the economic operators responsible for the works, the project manager ensures that the documents they have drawn up comply with the provisions of the project and, in this case, gives them his approval.
