With regard to new housing, bodies that build or manage housing located in a borough or group of boroughs send the mayor of the municipality, who informs the mayors of all the boroughs, the list of housing units reserved by agreement for the municipality, as soon as this list has been finalised.

The mayor of the municipality and the mayor of the arrondissement agree, for each housing programme, on a numerical division by half of the housing located in the arrondissement or group of arrondissements, taking into account the type and characteristics of the housing. If no agreement is reached, the housing units reserved for the municipality in the programme are chosen in turn by the mayor of the municipality and the borough mayor.

En ce qui concerne les logements neufs, les organismes constructeurs ou gestionnaires de logements situés dans un arrondissement ou un groupe d’arrondissements adressent au maire de la commune, qui en informe les maires de tous les arrondissements, la liste des logements réservés par convention à la commune, dès que cette liste est arrêtée.

Le maire de la commune et le maire d’arrondissement conviennent, pour chaque programme de logements, d’un partage numérique par moitié des logements situés dans l’arrondissement ou dans le groupe d’arrondissements, en tenant compte du type et des caractéristiques de ces logements. A défaut d’accord, les logements réservés à la commune dans le programme sont choisis à tour de rôle par le maire de la commune et par le maire d’arrondissement.
