Article R2512-24 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The main budget comprises a budget for the Commune of Paris and a special budget for the Police Prefecture. Each of these budgets is made up of an operating section and an investment section.

These two budgets are drawn up by chapters and articles in accordance with the nomenclature laid down by order of the Minister of the Interior and the Minister responsible for the budget within the framework of the accounting plan.

Le budget principal comprend un budget pour la commune de Paris et un budget spécial pour la préfecture de police. Chacun de ces budgets est constitué d’une section de fonctionnement et d’une section d’investissement.

Ces deux budgets sont établis par chapitres et articles conformément à la nomenclature fixée par arrêté du ministre de l’intérieur et du ministre chargé du budget dans le cadre du plan comptable.
