Article R2523-17 of the French Labour Code

For each mediation, a lump-sum compensation is allocated to the mediators on the lists mentioned in article R. 2523-3 who have acted in this capacity and in application of articles L. 2523-1 to L. 2523-9.
The rate of this compensation varies according to the scale of the dispute.
The allowance paid includes the reimbursement of secretarial, correspondence and travel expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.

Pour chaque médiation, une indemnité forfaitaire est allouée aux médiateurs figurant sur les listes mentionnées à l’article R. 2523-3 ayant agi en cette qualité et en application des articles L. 2523-1 à L. 2523-9.
Le taux de cette indemnité varie en fonction de l’importance du conflit.
L’indemnité allouée comprend le remboursement des frais de secrétariat, de correspondance ou de déplacement nécessités par l’accomplissement de leur mission.
