Article R300 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Article R. 75 shall read as follows:

“Art. R. 75.-When a court has handed down a decision against a French national that entails the deprivation of electoral rights, the court clerk shall draw up on a special form, and irrespective of the age and sex of the convicted person, a copy of the record of the criminal record that he shall send to the competent administrative authority, specifying, for each case, the date on which this disqualification will cease to have effect.

“If a new decision or measure alters the electoral capacity of the holder of the record, notice thereof shall be given by the registrar who drew up the record to the competent administrative authority. “

L’article R. 75 est rédigé comme suit :

” Art. R. 75.-Lorsqu’une juridiction a rendu contre un Français une décision entraînant la privation des droits électoraux, son greffier établit sur un imprimé spécial, et quels que soient l’âge et le sexe du condamné, une copie de la fiche du casier judiciaire qu’il adresse à l’autorité administrative compétente, en précisant, pour chaque cas, la date à laquelle cette incapacité cessera d’avoir effet.

” Si une décision ou une mesure nouvelle vient à modifier la capacité électorale du titulaire de la fiche, avis en est donné par le greffier qui avait établi cette fiche à l’autorité administrative compétente. “
