Article R302 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Article R. 77 shall read as follows:

“Art. R. 77.-Before drawing up bulletin no. 1 for a natural person, the clerk of the court of first instance shall check the civil status of the person concerned; if the result of the examination of the civil status registers is negative, he shall enter in the body of the bulletin, to the exclusion of any other mention, the indication “no applicable birth record”.

“In the event that, for whatever reason, the authority drawing up bulletin no. 1 does not have the civil status records, it shall enter in a very conspicuous manner on the bulletin the words: “identity not verified”. “

L’article R. 77 est rédigé comme suit :

” Art. R. 77.-Avant d’établir le bulletin n° 1 d’une personne physique, le greffier du tribunal de première instance vérifie l’état civil de l’intéressé ; si le résultat de l’examen des registres de l’état civil est négatif, il inscrit dans le corps du bulletin, à l’exclusion de toute autre mention, l’indication ” aucun acte de naissance applicable “.

” Au cas où, pour une raison quelconque, l’autorité qui établit le bulletin n° 1 ne dispose pas des actes de l’état civil, elle inscrit d’une façon très apparente sur le bulletin la mention : ” identité non vérifiée “. “
