Article R3111-4-2 of the French Public Health Code

The obligation to vaccinate against hepatitis B does not apply to people who are infected or have been infected by the hepatitis B virus, or to the people mentioned in article R. 3111-4-1 who have a contraindication to this vaccination. These people must present a medical certificate stating that they meet the legal requirements for vaccination against hepatitis B. This certificate contains no indication of diagnosis and no clinical or biological information.

L’obligation de vaccination contre l’hépatite B ne concerne pas les personnes infectées ou ayant eu une infection par le virus de l’hépatite B ni les personnes mentionnées à l’article R. 3111-4-1 qui justifient d’une contre-indication à cette vaccination. Ces personnes doivent présenter un certificat médical indiquant qu’elles répondent aux obligations légales de vaccination contre l’hépatite B. Ce certificat ne comporte ni indication de diagnostic ni information clinique ou biologique.
