Article R3112-4 of the French Public Health Code

Persons providing written proof of having been vaccinated with the BCG anti-tuberculosis vaccine are deemed to have complied with the vaccination requirement. Students listed in article R. 3112-1 C and persons mentioned in article R. 3112-2 who have a vaccination scar are also considered to have fulfilled this requirement. An order issued by the Minister of Health after consultation with the Haut Conseil de la santé publique (High Council for Public Health) determines the conditions under which the scar may be considered as proof of BCG vaccination.
