The persons mentioned in articles R. 3112-1 and R. 3112-2 are exempt from the vaccination requirement if a medical certificate certifies that vaccination is contraindicated. Contraindications to vaccination with the BCG anti-tuberculosis vaccine are defined by order of the Minister of Health, issued after consultation with the Haut Conseil de la santé publique.

Persons providing written proof of having been vaccinated with the BCG anti-tuberculosis vaccine are deemed to have complied with the vaccination requirement. Students listed in article R. 3112-1 C and persons mentioned in article R. 3112-2 who have a vaccination scar are also considered to have fulfilled this requirement.
