Article R3115-31 of the French Public Health Code

I. – Ship inspections and the issue of the health inspection certificate or health inspection exemption certificate are carried out by persons or bodies approved under the conditions defined in articles R. 3115-38 to R. 3115-41.

II. – Health inspection certificates or health inspection exemption certificates are valid for six months and are issued in ports, the list of which is determined by order of the ministers responsible for health and transport. These ports must have access to the services of approved persons or organisations.

I. – Les inspections des navires et la délivrance du certificat de contrôle sanitaire ou d’exemption de contrôle sanitaire sont réalisées par des personnes ou des organismes agréés dans les conditions définies aux articles R. 3115-38 à R. 3115-41.

II. – Les certificats de contrôle sanitaire ou d’exemption de contrôle sanitaire ont une durée de validité de six mois et sont délivrés dans les ports dont la liste est fixée par arrêté des ministres chargés de la santé et des transports. Ces ports doivent pouvoir disposer des services de personnes ou d’organismes agréés.
