I. – Operators of means of air transport and cruise ships shall keep lists of their passengers and their location, if known, in conditions of security appropriate to their content, so as to transmit them without delay to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency at his request.
These operators shall make available a sufficient number of traceability sheets on arrival of each aircraft. Where there is a risk to public health, they shall ensure that passengers complete them before disembarking.
II. – In the event of a public health risk and at the request of the health authorities, the Prefect shall organise the distribution and collection of traceability forms from passengers. He may ask transport companies to distribute and collect these forms and to check that they are completed before disembarkation; the companies will forward them to the manager of the point of entry. The traceability forms are archived for a period specified by the Prefect, by the manager of the point of entry concerned under security conditions, particularly fire safety conditions, appropriate to their content.
III. – The procedures for keeping passenger lists, forwarding them to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, and for distributing and collecting traceability sheets are laid down by order of the Ministers of Health and Transport.
