Within one month of receipt of the letter referred to in Article R. 3122-21, the Office shall inform the president of the court concerned whether or not a claim for compensation with the same purpose has been lodged with it and, if so, the progress of the proceedings. It will also indicate whether or not it intends to intervene in the proceedings.
Where the victim has accepted the offer made by the Office, the Director shall send the president of the court a copy of the documents on which the settlement is based. The Office shall inform the parties of the status of any proceedings brought before the Paris Court of Appeal pursuant to the provisions of the articles in sub-section 1 of this section and shall communicate, where applicable, the judgment rendered by the court.
The parties are informed by the Registry or the Secretariat of the Registry of the information communicated by the Office.
