Article R3211-24 of the French Public Health Code

The referral is accompanied by the documents provided for in article R. 3211-12 as well as the reasoned opinion provided for in II of article L. 3211-12-1 . This opinion describes in detail the manifestations of the mental disorder suffered by the person who is the subject of psychiatric care and the particular circumstances, both of which make it necessary to continue full hospitalisation in the light of the conditions laid down by articles L. 3212-1 and L. 3213-1.

This opinion indicates, where applicable, whether medical reasons prevent the person undergoing psychiatric care from being heard.

Article R3211-24

La saisine est accompagnée des pièces prévues à l’article R. 3211-12 ainsi que de l’avis motivé prévu au II de l’article L. 3211-12-1. Cet avis décrit avec précision les manifestations des troubles mentaux dont est atteinte la personne qui fait l’objet de soins psychiatriques et les circonstances particulières qui, toutes deux, rendent nécessaire la poursuite de l’hospitalisation complète au regard des conditions posées par les articles L. 3212-1 et L. 3213-1.

Cet avis indique, le cas échéant, si des motifs médicaux font obstacle à l’audition de la personne qui fait l’objet de soins psychiatriques.
