Article R*3231-7 of the French Labour Code

The rate of the minimum growth wage determined in application of article L. 3231-6 is set following the following procedure:

1° The National Commission for Collective Bargaining, Employment and Vocational Training receives from the Government, in good time, an analysis of the nation’s economic accounts and a report on general economic conditions ;

2° The Commission deliberates on these elements and, taking into account the changes that have already occurred during the year, sends the Government a reasoned opinion accompanied by a report setting out, where applicable, the position of the majority and that of the minorities.

Le taux du salaire minimum de croissance déterminé en application de l’article L. 3231-6 est fixé à l’issue de la procédure suivante :

1° La Commission nationale de la négociation collective, de l’emploi et de la formation professionnelle reçoit en temps utile, du Gouvernement, une analyse des comptes économiques de la nation et un rapport sur les conditions économiques générales ;

2° La commission délibère sur ces éléments et, compte tenu des modifications déjà intervenues en cours d’année, transmet au Gouvernement un avis motivé accompagné d’un rapport relatant, s’il y a lieu, la position de la majorité et celle des minorités.
