Article R332-6 of the French Sports Code

If the person concerned is unable to attend a meeting at the location specified in the prefectoral order, he or she must inform the designated authority in detail, without delay and by any means, and the authority may then, if necessary, fix another meeting location, in the same department or in a different department. Any change of venue requires the prior agreement of the prefect(s) concerned.

Article R332-6

Lorsqu’elle est dans l’impossibilité de déférer à une convocation au lieu précisé dans l’arrêté préfectoral, la personne intéressée en informe de façon circonstanciée, sans délai et par tous moyens, l’autorité désignée, qui peut alors au besoin fixer un autre lieu de convocation, dans le même département ou dans un département différent. Le changement de lieu de convocation nécessite, au préalable, l’accord du ou des préfets intéressés.
