A coordinating doctor may be struck off the register if one of the conditions set out in article R. 3711-3 is no longer met.
It is decided by the competent public prosecutor(s).
It may also be the subject of a reasoned request from the sentence enforcement judge, the juvenile judge or the prefect if the coordinating doctor fails to fulfil his obligations.
The public prosecutor informs the relevant sentence enforcement judge of this removal. The latter notifies the attending doctors and sentenced persons in contact with this coordinating doctor.
The coordinating doctor may appeal to the First Civil Chamber of the Court of Appeal. This appeal does not have suspensive effect. It may be lodged by simple declaration to the registry secretariat, or by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt sent to the registry secretary, within a period of one month, starting from the day of notification of this striking off.
