Article R3711-7 of the French Public Health Code

A coordinating doctor may withdraw from the list. He shall inform the State Prosecutor, the sentence enforcement judge(s) who appointed him, as well as the doctors treating him and the persons who are in contact with him, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. Article R3711-10 of the French Public Health Code

The sentence enforcement judge will send the coordinating doctor a copy of the documents in the proceedings that are useful for the performance of his duties. The coordinating doctor returns these documents to the judge when he ceases to monitor the person.
