Electoral rolls may be consulted by any voter, in particular by electronic means after identification in accordance with the procedures set out in article R. 4031-34-1. Any elector may request rectification from the National Commission. The lists are closed on the ninetieth day before the ballot.
From the same date, any complaint must be sent to the national commission within six days. The National Commission shall reach a decision within six days. Its decisions are notified to the interested parties without delay by any means enabling the date of receipt to be determined.
Within three days of receipt of the notification, the Commission’s decision may be appealed to the competent judicial court.
Appeals to the judicial court must be made in the manner set out in the first and second paragraphs of article R. 17 of the Electoral Code.
The court will give its final ruling within ten days of the matter being referred to it, after giving three days’ notice to all parties. The court’s decision is notified by the registry within three days by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
The decision may not be contested.
It may be appealed to the Supreme Court within ten days of notification of the court’s decision. This appeal is subject to the conditions set out in articles R. 19-2 to R. 19-6 of the Electoral Code.
