I. – The general meeting elects from among its members an executive committee which comprises at least a chairman, a treasurer and a secretary, a deputy secretary, and at least, for the union grouping doctors, a vice-chairman and a deputy treasurer.

For regional unions with six or fewer members, the executive committee is made up of a president, a treasurer and a secretary.

If no executive committee is appointed three months after the start of the term of office, the general meeting elects from among its members an executive committee comprising a president, a treasurer and a secretary, a deputy secretary and, for the union representing doctors, a vice-president.

II. – Within the regional union of doctors, the executive committee comprises an equal number of members representing each college.

III. – The members of the executive committee are elected by a separate vote for each position. The election takes place by secret ballot, by an absolute majority of the votes cast in the first two rounds and by a relative majority in the third. In the event of a tie, the oldest candidate shall be declared elected.

If a member of the Executive Committee permanently ceases to hold office, he shall be replaced at the first meeting of the General Meeting following the vacancy.

In the event of serious misconduct in the performance of his duties, and after having been given the opportunity to present his defence, any member of the Executive Committee shall be automatically declared to have resigned by a two-thirds majority of the General Meeting.

I. – L’assemblée élit en son sein un bureau qui comprend au moins un président, un trésorier et un secrétaire, un secrétaire adjoint, et au moins, pour l’union regroupant les médecins, un vice-président et un trésorier adjoint.

Pour les unions régionales dont l’assemblée compte six membres ou moins, le bureau est composé d’un président, d’un trésorier et d’un secrétaire.

A défaut de constitution d’un bureau trois mois après le début du mandat, l’assemblée élit en son sein un bureau qui comprend un président, un trésorier et un secrétaire, un secrétaire adjoint et, pour l’union regroupant les médecins, un vice-président.

II. – Au sein de l’union régionale regroupant les médecins, le bureau comprend un nombre égal de membres représentant chaque collège.

III. – Les membres du bureau sont élus par un vote distinct pour chaque poste. L’élection a lieu au scrutin secret, à la majorité absolue des suffrages exprimés aux deux premiers tours et à la majorité relative au troisième. En cas d’égalité de suffrages, le candidat le plus âgé est déclaré élu.

Si l’un des membres du bureau cesse définitivement d’exercer son mandat, il est procédé à son remplacement au cours de la première réunion de l’assemblée qui suit la vacance.

En cas de faute grave dans l’exercice de son mandat, et après avoir été mis en mesure de présenter sa défense, tout membre du bureau est déclaré démissionnaire d’office par l’assemblée se prononçant à la majorité des deux tiers.
