The Agency’s Board of Directors comprises twenty-three members appointed by order of the Minister for the Economy and Finance and the Minister for Tourism:
1° Seven representatives of holiday voucher beneficiaries, appointed respectively on the proposal of the following trade union organisations:
– Confédération générale du travail ;
– Confédération française démocratique du travail (French Democratic Labour Confederation)
– Confédération générale du travail-Force ouvrière ;
– l’Union nationale des syndicats autonomes UNSA-Education ;
– Confédération française des travailleurs chrétiens (French Confederation of Christian Workers)
– la Confédération française de l’encadrement ;
– Fédération syndicale unitaire.
2° Three employers’ representatives, nominated respectively by the Mouvement des Entreprises de France, the Confédération Générale des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises and the Union Professionnelle Artisanale.
3° Six qualified personalities with expertise in tourism, leisure and social issues, appointed on the recommendation of the Minister for Tourism.
4° Four representatives of the State, appointed respectively on the proposal of :
– the Minister for Tourism ;
– the Minister for the Budget ;
– the Minister for Social Affairs
– the Minister for the Civil Service.
5° One representative of the local authorities, appointed on the recommendation of the Association of French Mayors.
6° Two staff representatives, elected by the agency’s employees.
For the members mentioned in 4°, an alternate is appointed under the same conditions as the full member.
The members of the Board of Directors must declare to the Minister responsible for tourism the positions they hold, the mandates they hold and the interests they have in associations, organisations and companies that benefit or are likely to benefit from aid granted by the agency.
