Article R4124-3-1 of the French Public Health Code

The president of the regional or inter-regional council appoints a rapporteur.

The practitioner concerned, the departmental council and, where applicable, the national council are convened by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt at least eight days before the meeting of the regional or inter-regional council. They are informed of the dates on which they may consult the file at the headquarters of the regional or inter-regional council. The experts’ report is sent to them.

The notice to attend indicates that the practitioner may be assisted or represented by any person of his choice, the departmental council or the national council by one of their members or by a lawyer.

Le président du conseil régional ou interrégional désigne un rapporteur.

Le praticien intéressé, le conseil départemental et, le cas échéant, le conseil national sont convoqués par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception huit jours au moins avant la séance du conseil régional ou interrégional. Ils sont informés des dates auxquelles ils peuvent consulter le dossier au siège du conseil régional ou interrégional. Le rapport des experts leur est communiqué.

La convocation indique que le praticien peut se faire assister ou représenter par toute personne de son choix, le conseil départemental ou le conseil national par un de leurs membres ou par un avocat.
