In the event of an on-the-spot vote, the electors are brought together to vote.
The Chairman of the Council concerned, or one of his duly authorised representatives, opens the meeting and invites the assembly to elect a polling station consisting of a chairman and two assessors, who then appoint as many scrutineers as necessary. Each teller has a list of voters and a list of voters who have voted by post. The scrutineers count the voters and ensure that no-one has voted by post.
