During on-site voting, lists of pairs of candidates or candidates, identical to those mentioned in article R. 4125-10, and envelopes are made available to the voters present.
The opening of the ballot shall be announced and its closing pronounced by the chairman of the polling station in accordance with the instructions given on the invitations.
When the ballot opens, the chairman of the polling station shall ensure that the ballot box is empty.
The vote is then taken.
The ballot is secret. The necessary means are made available to voters to preserve the freedom and secrecy of their vote.
As soon as the ballot is closed, the sealed box containing the postal votes is opened, the envelopes are counted and opened and the anonymous envelopes they contain are placed in the ballot box.
