Article R4125-5 of the French Public Health Code

The members of the Ordinary Council are elected for a term of six years, half of which may be renewed every three years.

The term of office of the members of the Ordinary Council and of the Disciplinary Boards ends on the date on which the results of the election to renew their seats are announced.

Outgoing members of the Disciplinary Councils or Boards, whether full or alternate, may be re-elected.

An alternate member of a Disciplinary Board or Disciplinary Chamber whose term of office has not expired may stand for re-election to the same body without first having to resign.

Les conseillers ordinaux sont élus pour six ans et renouvelables par moitié tous les trois ans.


Le mandat des conseillers et des membres des chambres disciplinaires prend fin à la date de proclamation des résultats de l’élection destinée à renouveler leur siège.


Les membres sortants des conseils ou des chambres disciplinaires, titulaires ou suppléants, sont rééligibles.


Un membre suppléant d’un conseil ou d’une chambre disciplinaire qui n’est pas en fin de mandat peut présenter sa candidature aux mêmes instances sans devoir préalablement démissionner.
