Article R4125-6 of the French Public Health Code

At least thirty days before the day of the election, candidates shall hand in their signed declaration of candidacy to the Chairman of the Organising Council, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, or to the Chairman of the Organising Council, against a receipt.

Any candidacy received after this deadline shall be inadmissible.

The last day for the receipt of candidatures closes at 4pm. If this day is a Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or non-working day, receipt of nomination papers shall close at 4 p.m. on the previous working day.

Trente jours au moins avant le jour de l’élection, les candidats déposent au siège du conseil organisateur contre récépissé leur déclaration de candidature revêtue de leur signature ou la font connaître au président de ce même conseil, par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception.


Toute candidature parvenue après l’expiration de ce délai est irrecevable.


Le dernier jour de réception des candidatures, celle-ci est close à seize heures. Si ce jour est un samedi, un dimanche, un jour férié ou chômé, la réception des déclarations de candidature est close le jour ouvrable précédent à seize heures.
