Each candidate completes a declaration of candidacy in which he indicates his full name, date of birth, address, qualifications, method of practice, professional qualifications and, where applicable, his current and, where applicable, past membership of professional bodies.
Except in the case of a single-member constituency election, he shall mention the other candidate with whom he is standing in the same pairing and produce his acceptance. Candidates standing in pairs may sign a joint declaration of candidacy.
For council elections, the candidate may enclose a profession of faith for the attention of the electorate, drawn up in accordance with the provisions of 4° of article R. 4125-9. Each pair of candidates produces a single profession of faith.
The list of candidates is initialled by the president of the organising council, or the person he delegates, in accordance with the procedures laid down in the order’s electoral regulations.
