Article R4163-17 of the French Labour Code

Once the request to use the points has been made, the points corresponding to the use desired by the holder are reserved and cannot be allocated to another use until the decision of the body mentioned in the second paragraph of article R. 4163-15.

Acceptance of the request by this management body allows the points to be used and payment of the sums relating to each use clears the points account.

Une fois la demande d’utilisation des points effectuée, les points correspondant à l’utilisation voulue par le titulaire sont réservés et ne peuvent être affectés à une autre utilisation jusqu’à la décision de l’organisme mentionné au deuxième alinéa de l’article R. 4163-15.

L’acceptation de la demande par cet organisme gestionnaire permet l’utilisation de ces points et le règlement des sommes afférentes à chaque utilisation permet de solder le compte de ces points.
