Article R424-7 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The Prefect shall issue the multiannual residence permit provided for in Articles L. 424-9 or L. 424-11 within three months of the decision granting subsidiary protection by the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons or the National Court of Asylum. This time limit does not apply to the family members referred to in article L. 561-2.

Article R424-7

Le préfet procède à la délivrance de la carte de séjour pluriannuelle prévue aux articles L. 424-9 ou L. 424-11 dans un délai de trois mois à compter de la décision d’octroi de la protection subsidiaire par l’Office français de protection des réfugiés et apatrides ou la Cour nationale du droit d’asile. Ce délai n’est pas applicable aux membres de famille visés à l’article L. 561-2.
