The objectives in terms of transport infrastructure, intermodality, logistics and the development of passenger and freight transport relate to passenger and freight transport. They are determined with regard to foreseeable changes in transport demand and the needs linked to the implementation of the right to mobility as defined in the article L. 1111-2 du code des transports.
They aim to optimise the use of existing networks and facilities and complementarity between modes and cooperation between operators.
The objectives in terms of intermodality, logistics and the development of passenger and freight transport are determined, in particular, with regard to identified daily travel needs between home and the workplace. They are aimed at:
– the articulation between the different modes of travel, particularly with regard to the establishment of multimodal interchange hubs;
– the coherence of public transport and mobility services offered to users on the regional territory as well as the coherence of the provisions of neighbouring mobility plans, while respecting the competencies of each of the territory’s transport organising authorities;
– the coordination of the transport and mobility policies of the organising authorities defined in article L. 1221-1 du code des transports, en ce qui concerne l’offre de services, l’information des usagers, la tarification et la billetique.
