Article R4313-33 of the French Labour Code

The notified body shall inform the applicant, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, of the date on which the technical file is complete. It shall inform the applicant of its decision on the application for EC type-examination, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, within three months of this date.

L’organisme notifié informe le demandeur, par lettre recommandée avec accusé de réception, de la date à laquelle le dossier technique est complet. Il lui fait connaître sa décision sur la demande d’examen CE de type, par lettre recommandée avec avis de réception, dans un délai de trois mois, à compter de cette date.
