Article R4313-64 of the French Labour Code

In order to benefit from an approved quality assurance system, the manufacturer must submit an application for assessment of his system to a notified body of his choice. This application must include:

1° All the information relating to the personal protective equipment envisaged, including the technical file provided for in Article R. 4313-6 relating to the model for which an EC type-examination certificate has been issued;

2° Documentation on the quality assurance system;

3° A commitment to fulfil the obligations arising from the quality assurance system and to maintain the effectiveness of this system.

Article R4313-64

Pour bénéficier d’un système approuvé d’assurance qualité, le fabricant dépose une demande d’évaluation de son système auprès d’un organisme notifié de son choix. Cette demande comporte :

1° Toutes les informations relatives aux équipements de protection individuelle envisagés, y compris le dossier technique prévu à l’article R. 4313-6 relatif au modèle ayant fait l’objet d’une attestation d’examen CE de type ;

2° La documentation sur le système d’assurance qualité ;

3° L’engagement de remplir les obligations découlant du système d’assurance qualité et de maintenir l’efficacité de ce système.
