Article R432-11 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The foreign national is summoned to appear before the residence permit commission within the time limits laid down in the first paragraph of article L. 432-15 by a letter specifying the date, time and place of the commission meeting and mentioning the rights resulting for the person concerned from the provisions of the same paragraph.
At his/her request, the mayor of the commune in which the foreign national concerned resides, or his/her representative, is heard.

Article R432-11

L’étranger est convoqué devant la commission du titre de séjour dans les délais prévus au premier alinéa de l’article L. 432-15 par une lettre qui précise la date, l’heure et le lieu de réunion de la commission et qui mentionne les droits résultant pour l’intéressé des dispositions du même alinéa.
A sa demande, le maire de la commune dans laquelle réside l’étranger concerné, ou son représentant, est entendu.
