The departmental or interdepartmental council of the order of masseur-physiotherapists is composed as follows:
1° Where the number of masseur-physiotherapists on the most recently published register is less than or equal to 150 :
a) Two pairs of full members and two pairs of alternates representing self-employed masseur-physiotherapists ;
b) One pair of full members and one pair of alternates representing salaried masseur-physiotherapists;
2° Where the number of masseur-physiotherapists on the most recently published register is greater than 150 and less than or equal to 500:
a) Three pairs of full members and three pairs of alternates representing self-employed masseur-physiotherapists;
b) One pair of full members and one pair of alternates representing salaried masseur-physiotherapists;
3° Where the number of masseur-physiotherapists on the most recently published register is greater than 500 and less than or equal to 1,000:
a) Four pairs of full members and four pairs of alternates representing self-employed masseur-physiotherapists;
b) One pair of full members and one pair of alternates representing salaried masseur-physiotherapists;
4° Where the number of masseur-physiotherapists on the most recently published register is greater than 1,000 and less than or equal to 1,500:
a) Five pairs of full members and five pairs of alternates representing self-employed masseur-physiotherapists;
b) One pair of full members and one pair of alternates representing salaried masseur-physiotherapists;
5° Where the number of masseur-physiotherapists on the most recently published register is greater than 1,500 and less than or equal to 2,500:
a) Six pairs of full members and six pairs of alternates representing self-employed masseur-physiotherapists;
b) Two pairs of full members and two pairs of alternates representing salaried masseur-physiotherapists;
6° Where the number of masseur-physiotherapists on the most recently published register exceeds 2,500:
a) Seven pairs of full members and seven pairs of alternates representing self-employed masseur-physiotherapists;
b) Two pairs of full members and two pairs of alternates representing salaried masseur-physiotherapists.
When the demographic evolution of masseur-physiotherapists within a department results in an increase in the number of seats to be filled, and that at the end of the renewal all the seats have not been filled, a departmental council may, by way of derogation and until the next renewal, have a lower number of seats of ordinal councillors than that provided for.
