Article R4321-72 of the French Public Health Code

The following are prohibited for masseur-physiotherapists:

1° Any act likely to provide the patient with an unjustified or illicit material benefit;

2° Any rebate in money or in kind, or any commission to any person whatsoever;

3° Apart from the conditions set out in articles L. 1453-6 and L. 1453-7, the solicitation or acceptance of a benefit in kind or in cash in any form whatsoever, directly or indirectly, for a prescription or any therapeutic act whatsoever.

Article R4321-72

Sont interdits au masseur-kinésithérapeute :

1° Tout acte de nature à procurer au patient un avantage matériel injustifié ou illicite ;

2° Toute ristourne en argent ou en nature, toute commission à quelque personne que ce soit ;

3° En dehors des conditions fixées par les articles L. 1453-6 et L. 1453-7, la sollicitation ou l’acceptation d’un avantage en nature ou en espèces sous quelque forme que ce soit, d’une façon directe ou indirecte, pour une prescription ou un acte thérapeutique quelconque.
