Article R4324-35 of the French Labour Code

If there is a risk that a ride-on worker will be crushed between parts of the mobile work equipment and the ground when the equipment overturns or tips over, the equipment must be fitted with a system for restraining ride-on workers in their seats, unless the state of the art and the actual conditions of use prohibit this.

S’il existe un risque qu’un travailleur porté, lors d’un retournement ou d’un renversement, soit écrasé entre des parties de l’équipement de travail mobile et le sol, l’équipement est muni d’un système de retenue des travailleurs portés sur leur siège, sauf si l’état de la technique et les conditions effectives d’utilisation l’interdisent.
