Article R4332-12 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The allocations made to the regions are established in programme authorisations. The amount of these authorisations is notified to each region by the regional prefect.

The payment appropriations corresponding to these programme authorisations are allocated, as far as the regional school equipment allocation is concerned, by the regional prefect.

Les dotations attribuées aux régions sont établies en autorisations de programme. Le montant de ces autorisations est notifié à chaque région par le préfet de région.

Les crédits de paiement correspondant à ces autorisations de programme sont attribués, en ce qui concerne la dotation régionale d’équipement scolaire, par le préfet de région.
