Article R4382-6 of the French Public Health Code

The employing establishments, the competent order councils and the regional unions of healthcare professionals representing private medical auxiliaries promote continuing professional development programmes which may be followed by private medical auxiliaries, hospital medical auxiliaries, salaried medical auxiliaries, care assistants and nursery assistants. These programmes may involve other professionals.

In public health establishments, the establishment’s technical committee and the nursing, rehabilitation and medico-technical care commission are consulted on the continuing professional development plan, in application of articles R. 6144-40 and R. 6146-10.

Les établissements employeurs, les conseils des ordres compétents ainsi que les unions régionales des professionnels de santé représentant les auxiliaires médicaux libéraux assurent la promotion de programmes de développement professionnel continu qui peuvent être suivis par des auxiliaires médicaux libéraux, des auxiliaires médicaux hospitaliers, des auxiliaires médicaux salariés, des aides-soignants et des auxiliaires de puériculture. Ces programmes peuvent associer d’autres professionnels.


Dans les établissements publics de santé, le comité technique d’établissement et la commission des soins infirmiers, de rééducation et médico-techniques sont consultés sur le plan de développement professionnel continu, en application des articles R. 6144-40 et R. 6146-10.
